    Dear Homeowner,

    We would like to remind you of the importance of smoke detectors in your home. Smoke detectors can save lives as well as help to prevent or minimize property damage in the event of a fire in your home. What homeowners often overlook when spring cleaning, planning a remodel, or moving into an older home is checking for a sufficient number of properly installed and located smoke alarms.

    • Smoke Detectors should be installed on every level of your home, inside all bedrooms, hallways and living rooms.
    • Smoke detectors should be cleaned to ensure proper working order.
    • Never paint, sticker or decorate smoke detectors.
    • Replace the batteries in your smoke alarms every six (6) months.
  • Water Shut Off Valves
    Do you know where your water shut off valve for your home is located at? If not you should take the time to find it. In the event of a plumbing break in your home you will be glad you were able to get the water shut off in a hurry before major damages. 
  • Clothing Dryers
    Clogged clothes dryer vents are a fire hazard. Please make sure to check yours or have it cleaned anually. We are fans of Tampa Lint Masters 813-789-9292
  • HVAC
    Ground HVAC compressor units not already secured should be anchored to their concrete pad bases by bracketing all four corners of each compressor. Units that are not anchored have the potential for being moved during high winds causing damages. 
  • Prevent Crime
    Help prevent crime by remembering to keep your car doors locked at all times.
